One of my many New Years Resolutions is to be MUCH better about updating my blog! Things have been going pretty smoothly for us since we welcomed Bennett on November 14th. We had a nice, quiet Christmas and spent New Years Eve with Great Grandma Grove and Cousin Cathy. Our Christmas tree and decorations are still up, but the tree is fake and Bennett loves looking at the lights and ornaments, so I don't feel too guilty.I am set to go back to work on February 9th. I am moving to a four day work week, which I am hoping will ease the pains of having to leave my little man to re-join the rat race. I am looking forward to working and testing my skills at juggling both a family and work.
Doug has been busy at work, as usual. He was able to take off two weeks after Bennett's birth and then another week around the holidays, but is now back on his seven days/week schedule. He and Bennett have been getting their naps in when Doug gets home from work - and I am always close by with the camera!
Hope the New Year is off to a wonderful start for everyone and that resolutions are still in full force!!
